I am not going to blog here anymore. I am not moving forward with my running. I am looking for other avenues that I have talked about before on this blog.
I am not going to be recording my #500in2010 here either unless I start walking. I am not really loving that idea. So...
I'll miss reading about your adventures. Taking a break (I had to delete cause I just wrote bread..hmmm lol) and looking at new avenues can be mighty refreshing. The best of luck to you!
will miss reading about your adventures...but glad you're moving onto something else that makes you happy! hope we'll get to hear about those up-coming adventures!!
Hey Cathy, this was posted when I was on vacation. Wanted to check in and say you have to do what is right for you and for every thing, there is a season. I took a lot of time off from exercise and healthy eating this past year and I am glad I took the time to nurture myself. I came back stronger than ever!

{about this blog}
Hi I am Cathy. I am trying to lose 47 more pounds.
In 2008, I lost close to 90 pounds. I wanted to start off with a brand new blog to reflect the person I am today, rather than at my heaviest weight of 238 pounds (top pregnancy weight with number six back in November 2007.)
Yes, you read that right. I have six kids. One boy who is ten, and then we have five daughters that are ages 9,7,5,3 and 2. The blog header photo is a photo from October 2008 when I ran my first half marathon in 1 hour, 53 minutes and 36 seconds. I was 150 pounds.
Last year, I was 10K away from racing my very first Marathon. I injured myself, and didn't do any exercise for over 7 months of last year. I am am feeling great again, and I am currently in a 10K clinic which feels great (just did the LTR as well)
I have decided I would rather run, than not run at all. I will not beat myself up over the weight gain. I will get stronger, and when all six of the kids are in school, I can rev myself back up again! No pressure. I still want to run some more half marathons and of course a full. I know I can do it, it is just a matter of good timing.
